While we focus on the needs of the student, we do it within the context of the family, because we recognize that for meaningful change to occur and be sustained, we have to assist not only the student but the entire family unit to heal and adapt in order to overcome the difficulties they have encountered.
Parents, siblings and grandparents are involved in decision making and throughout all aspects of the program. Family participation includes intensive family weekends, regular phonecalls, family retreats, and psycho- educational groups. |
